Angel Xpress Foundation (AXF) is a volunteer led, community-based non-profit that seeks to bridge the socio-economic divide in our cities by empowering students from low-income families through education, skilling, and overall development.
Vision All children have the opportunity to be mentored by an involved, educated, empathetic adult to discover and achieve their true potential.
Mission Provide opportunities for committed, loving and enthusiastic adults to mentor first-generation learners from economically marginalised communities, through collaboration with local communities, schools, corporates, government agencies, and other developmental organization
In 2024-25; 3200 students are receiving daily lessons from 1400+ volunteers who have contributed 32000 teaching hours already, we expect to close the year at 50,000+ teaching hours.
Our goal is to create an interest and capacity to learn as well as meaningful changes in their behavior, guiding them towards becoming responsible and engaged citizens.
Volunteers are largely home makers, retired professionals and college students.
Students are from low income families earning less than Rs.25000/- per month, largely first-generation learners attending BMC and aided schools.
